The good folks at LA VENTANA cafe were approaching their one year annivesary, and approached me to create some designs to help them celebrate the milestone.
ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY PARTY:
The objective was simple: utilize two colors and include coffee. I opted to use a nice deep blue that aligned with the existing LA VENTANA branding as well as black. Final prints done on RISO by Small Works Detroit.
LA VENTANA SHIRT:
The LA VENTANA shirt began life as a traditional sketch done on paper with a black POSCA paint marker (my drawing tool of choice). I then scanned and digitized the sketches in Adobe Illustrator. Final screen printing was done by Joe Reilly of ALL MOTION STUDIOS, photography by James Adams of monochrome.red
