LET TYPE TALK

Let Type Talk is a 32 page book written as a tribute to the late designer Herb Lubalin. He was a decorated type manipulator, so as a tribute, I decided to let my own type talk in the form of typographic sketches done on little note cards, and scanned into the spreads. The process included several draft spreads and a lot of note card sketches. All of what you see was crafted by me, text included. I even bound the book myself. Overall, creating this was a great lesson in concentration, as I was stuck in my room creating this while the world outside was seemingly crumbling.
